Synopsis

Twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. The story, the acting and the visuals effects were great in the first season. I hope they continue at the same pace in the second season.

The show's creators, have done an excellent job adapting the popular video game for tv, fully capturing the grim reality of the apocalyptic scenario. The chemistry between the main characters, Joel and Ellie, is also a highlight. Ellie's resistance to the fungus that causes the outbreak raises the stakes, adding a sense of urgency to their journey.
